Securing the Booking of the Event

(2) In the case of an event being secured before a hair/makeup trial takes place; the deposit can be divided into two separate payments. (3) A prior arrangement of a trial (without a deposit) does NOT on its own merit reserve the services of the makeup artist.
(1) Payments from the client to the makeup artist are accepted in cash or Cheques are not accepted by the makeup artist. (2) The client’s non-refundable deposit of £50 is deducted from the fee. (3) The trial must be paid for at the time the trial is conducted. (4) The client must pay the makeup artist the fee, in full, one month (28 days) before the booked event takes place. (5) The makeup artist reserves the right to cancel the event if the client fails to pay the fee within this stated time.
Responsibility of the Client
(1) The client must inform the makeup artist of any issues relating to the use of equipment/tools or products before the trial and event take place. These include but are NOT limited to: sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. (2) If the client fails to inform the makeup artist of sensitivities or known conditions; the makeup artist is not held liable or responsible for any losses, damages, or reactions that result. (3) The makeup artist reserves all and any rights to refuse service to the client (or party).
Cancellations (1) In order to cancel the event and cease the agreement; the client must inform the makeup artist in writing. (2) The makeup artist is not required to recover and/or return any payments and deposits made by the client up until the point of cancellation. However, the client will not be required to make further payments or fees after the cancellation. (3) The client may choose to cancel and forfeit a trial. This must be done more than 24 hours in advance. Any trial cancelled less than 24 hours in notice will be charged as agreed upon before the cancellation. (4) Cancellations made by the makeup artist due to personal discretion in which no solution is available will result in a refund to the client with no further payments from the makeup artist or client. (5) External factors affecting the booking which are beyond the constituents of the makeup artist will be given every alternative to remedy the situation. However, the makeup artist in this case will not be responsible to compensate the client. The client has the option of purchasing insurance to prevent such circumstances from taking place.
Exclusivity (1) Exclusivity to the client by the makeup artist is not guaranteed for the whole day of the event. (2) In the case of another event taking place on the same day as the agreed event; the makeup artist will time and schedule accordingly with none of the clients or events being affected. (3) If the client prefers exclusivity on the day of an event, an exclusivity fee is required to be paid by the client to the makeup artist.
